The Heart of Manotick

Listen along as I do my hair and makeup for the day and discuss the struggles that go along with it. Makeup and hairstyling are among the many ways I alter my appearance to attempt to fit the construct of beauty. I regularly use multiple beauty products to try and look more attractive since that is how my worth as a woman is measured. Being a woman means constantly trying to meet society's standards for how we should look. Unfortunately, the expectations for our appearance are ever-changing, making it almost impossible for me to feel beautiful.
