Listen along as Jim Watson speaks about his experience working at the Watson Mill in Manotick, Ontario. The Watson Mill is a flour mill that was operated by the Watson family until 1963, and now it has been converted into a heritage home. The Mill was a central part of the town where all the farmers would congregate since it was the only mill in town that had a machine running 24 hours. Watson's Mill also prevented the surrounding land from flooding each Spring by opening the dam and letting the water out.
